There’s a good chance you’ve been hit with a reel of the Islander Purse Making Shops in the U.K. while on Instagram (and TikTok)! I couldn’t pass up the chance to go while I was on vacation in Scotland. It was fun, super easy, and left me with an adorable handbag!

There are a bunch of different sizes that you can choose from. I made the “mini satchel,” and it cost 60 pounds (about $75). You start by making your color selections for all the individual pieces.

Next, you sit at your workshop table while an instructor shows you how to screw all the pieces together! It was very simple, and a great opportunity to chat with other tourists and locals in the class!
