Al Roker took to social media Thursday afternoon to reassure fans that he is on the road to recovery following surgery to treat his recently diagnosed prostate cancer.

The longtime weatherman and co-host on NBC’s “TODAY” announced his diagnosis Nov. 6, explaining he would undergo surgery to have his prostate removed, and his surgeon, Dr. Vincent Laudone, discussed the diagnosis on the show.
“Fortunately (Roker’s) cancer appears somewhat limited or confined to the prostate, but because it’s more aggressive, we wanted to treat it,” Laudone said.
Roker, 66, promised fans he will “See you all soon.”
