The shooting occurred in Beloit at about 5:15 p.m. CDT, the Wisconsin State Journal reported.

In a news conference, Beloit Police Capt. Daniel Molland described the victims as being in the late teens, the newspaper reported.

Molland said investigators had not yet identified the shooter or motive, WMTV reported. He did not provide the condition of the victims, the television station reported.

“Violent crime will not be tolerated in the city of Beloit and we all need to come together and try and find out who committed this crime,” Molland told reporters. “And we’re asking the community for their support so any information you have, however small.”

Authorities said there was no threat to the community, WISC-TV reported.
