Yesterday, KSAT shared a story online about a raccoon that was stuck in a drainage ditch for days at a hotel near La Cantera. Employees fed the raccoon apples through the welded grate, but could not remove the grate or get the raccoon out. Within hours of the story going public, a pest control company showed up on the scene and set a humane trap. They were able to bait and save the raccoon with a bag of Cheetos! 

An environmental group sent a letter to Whataburger, asking them to discontinue their polystyrene cups and replace them with a material that is biodegradable. Currently, the material that their famous striped cups are made of, IS recyclable, but not biodegradable. It breaks down into small pieces that wildlife mistakes for food. Other companies, like McDonald's and Dunkin' Donuts have already committed to using new materials. Whataburger has officially responded and said that they will consider changing and will begin a search for possible new materials. My SA

Ed Sheeran is being sued AGAIN over his song "Thinking Out Loud." Last time, he was sued by the family of Ed Townsound, who co-wrote the song "Let's Get It On" by Marvin Gaye, who said the two songs were too similar. THIS time, he's being sued for $100 million (for the same thing) by the company Structured Asset Sales, which allegedly owns 1/3 of the copyrights for "Let's Get It On." MORE HERE
