Boerne is gaining national attention for their .5K (yup, that's POINT 5K) in May! All in all, .5k equals roughly 1/3 of a mile. The event is expected to last about 10 minutes (assuming you stop for a bit at the "doughnut and coffee hydration station) and participants will get a medal, beer, and sticker for their car!
