Food | Wine,
Join us for another Tasting Extravaganza to sample several different types of mead, a honey-wine dating back to the biblical and Viking eras. You will also taste a wide range of honey from different flower sources - each with its own unique flavor and color.Sample several foods made with honey, including honey cakes, Brie topped with honey-soaked almonds, and ice cream with honey. And of course there will be cheese, fruit and veggie trays to make for a wonderful tasting experience. The honey and mead will be provided by Gordon Clauss, beekeeper and owner of Camp Flowers Honey in Youngstown Florida. Gordon is also a founding Director of the Cutts Foundation for Bee Research, and all proceeds from the event will be donated to their research work to help stop the erradication of honey bees caused by pesticides and invasive beetles.Join us for a fun and informative evening to experience honey and mead like you've never had it before! Please buy your tickets early so we can ensure enough food for all guests.Bee there!
