Drawing on Experience To create art is human To create a drawing is to express yourself and have a good look at your subject Villa Finale invites six children between the ages of six and twelve to take a short tour of the house, choose an object in the museums vast collection, have a seat at a table with the object and draw it at their own pace and in their own style. Museum staff will be on hand to give pointers and information about the objects. The program is designed to allow children to examine museum objects close at hand and learn about their structure, care and importance. Paper and pencils will be provided. Drawing on Experience is free and open to the public, but reservations must be made by calling (210) 223-9800 no later than 4:30 pm, Thursday, January 24th.
