This walk is sponsored by Randolph Roadrunners Volkssport Club and includes two 10km/5km walks; routes may be walked twice on the same start cards for 20km Distance Credit. It is open to all and families are encouraged to participate. Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone participating must register and carry a start card and turn it in at the finish. The walk starts from 8:00 am until noon and finishes no later than 3:00 pm. The Alamo Heights walk takes you by large homes and estates. The walk is flat except for a few gentle rolling up and down grades. Not suitable for wheelchairs. The Trail Rating is 2A. Note: Barney Smith, curator of the Toilet Seat Museum, is looking forward to greeting visitors at the Alamo Heights route checkpoint.
