Hendrix has meteorically surpassed this personal ambition. She is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and a classically trained vocalist who refuses to be categorized and very easily weaves folk, pop, country, blues and swinging jazz into a eclectic style all her own. Her charismatic stage presence and reputation for always delivering an energetic and spiritually uplifting live show is no wonder why she has a strong and loyal fan following which extends three generations. Terri has produced live CDs, a popular kids album and a Christmas EP. In addition, Hendrix has several local music awards to add to her collection of recognitions and accolades along with being inducted into the South Texas Music Walk of Fame. Recently, Hendrix a 501(c)(3) offering educational and therapeutic arts programs to people with neurological challenges. Hendrix is not merely existing, she has impacted the lives of others through her music, writing and community service. Personable and charismatic, Hendrix excels at writing songs that speak universal truths. With song subjects that range from relationships gone wrong to spirituality, from common-sense reactions to current events to the importance of family, Hendrix uses humor and pathos to get her point across. San Antonio Express News Austin favorite Hendrix turned in a powerful opening set, with Lloyd Maines accompanying her on guitar, mandolin and steel. Hendrix was especially appealing on The Spiritual Kind, A Thousand Times and a spoken-word offering If I Had a Daughter, compositions that showed off her versatility, instrumental skill and strong, emotional vocals.
