(San Antonio) The Carver Development Boards 22nd Annual Cavalcade of the Stars Fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, October 13, 2012 at The Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, Lila Cockrell Theatre. The Cavalcade of the Stars benefits programs at the Carver Community Cultural Center including the School of Visual and Performing Arts, Youth Matinee Series, artist residencies, educator workshops and summer camps. For more than 75 years, the Carver has offered outstanding music, theatre, dance, and art programs for the citizens of San Antonio by providing exposure to unique cultural traditions and legacies. The event begins with a silent auction and dinner at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center followed by a special concert performance at the Lila Cockrell Theatre featuring Grammy Award Winner Esperanza Spalding Radio Music Society.
