Level: Intermediate Instructor: Sheila Black “In these workshops we will cover four core elements of the craft of poetry with the aim of writing more vivid and linguistically engaged poems. The craft areas covered will be image, metaphor, form, and voice & tone. Each of these call up and apply different poetic powers. Through our in-class exercises we will work together to arrive at strategies and approaches that increase the immediacy and force of each participant’s poems.
