Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk To Help Fund Life Saving Research: More than 10,000 anticipated to build awareness of blood cancer at Oct. 20 event
WHAT: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will host the annual Light the Night event at the HemisFair Park on Saturday, Oct. 20 to fund lifesaving research and support people battling cancer. The Walk, which commemorates lives touched by blood cancer, is a celebration with music, refreshments and activities, where friends, families, and co-workers form fundraising teams and walk together in twilight holding illuminated balloons – white for survivors, red for supporters and gold to remember those who have died.
