Magician David Blaine accidentally shot himself during a stunt he performed at the MGM Garden Arena. The show was actually aired on TV this past Saturday. During the stunt, David uses a gun to seemingly shoot a bullet down his own throat, but a cup inside his mouth is supposed to catch the bullet and prevent it from going any further. The shield in the cup apparently shattered and the bullet struck the back of his throat.

"I was sure the bullet went right through my head and that I was dead... Suddenly, I became aware of the pain, and it brought me back." NY Post

David Bowie EP has been released in honor of what would have been his 70th birthday tomorrow (January 10th). The EP, titled "No Plan," includes 4 tracks- believed to have been his final recordings. A recent documentary revealed that David Bowie only found out the cancer he had was terminal 3 months before his death. He knew his cancer was terminal during the making of the music video (below) for "Lazarus." The director of the video did not know, eventhough the theme of the video is centered around death and rebirth. The Guardian, Huffington Post
