Calif. clinic helps injured golden eagle
A wounded eagle rescued the week before was brought to a pet hospital in Gilroy, Calif., Wednesday to see if veterinarian can help the bird heal and to soar again. The powerful flapping of the golden eagle's six-foot wingspan was examined closely by Dr. Suzanne Colbert of Princevalle Pet Hospital.
